KC Rebell

KC Rebell, born Hüseyin Kökseçen in 1988 in Turkey to Kurdish parents, moved to Germany at the age of seven and became one of the country's prominent gangsta rap figures. He first gained visibility as one half of the duo SAW (Schwarz auf Weiß) alongside PA Sports, releasing a mixtape and the album Kinder des Zorns before starting 2011 he shifted his focus to a solo career.

His solo debut, Derdo Derdo, was released on PA Sports's label Life Is Pain, followed by Rebellismus and Banger rebellieren, the latter after moving to Farid Bang's label Banger Musik. He achieved his first number-one album with Rebellution in 2014, a feat he repeated with Fata Morgana in 2015 and Abstand in 2016, cementing his status as one of the most commercially consistent voices in German rap.

Beyond chart success, KC Rebell is known for prioritizing storytelling over pure self-mythologizing, a trait that sets him apart from many peers in the genre. He was also involved in a widely publicized feud with fellow rapper Xatar, marked by the diss track «Dizz da». His music largely stays within rap and hip-hop, occasionally touching pop-adjacent production.
