Kat Dahlia

Kat Dahlia is a Cuban-American singer, songwriter and rapper from Miami, Florida, born Katriana Sandra Huguet on July 29, 1990. She broke through in 2013 with her debut single «Gangsta», a raw, confessional track that showcased the sharp-tongued, street-influenced style that became her signature. Praised for her aggressive flow and unfiltered lyricism, she was quickly tapped as one of the industry's rising voices, landing on Billboard's «Next Big Sound» list that same year.

Her sound blends pop hooks with hip-hop cadences and R&B melodicism, often addressing heartbreak, resilience and street life with unusual candor. She signed with Epic Records and Vested in Culture, releasing her debut album My Garden in January 2015, which expanded on the promise of «Gangsta» with tracks like «I Think I'm in Love» and the title song «My Garden».
