K Koke

K Koke is a British rapper of Greek Cypriot descent from the Stonebridge area of North West London. He first gained wide attention through his freestyle on Charlie Sloth's Fire in the Booth series on BBC 1Xtra, a performance that spread widely online and established him as one of the standout voices in UK rap. He is also known as a member of the collective USG.

After building momentum with his mixtape «Pure Koke Vol 1» and singles such as «Lord Knows (Street Life)», Koke signed to Roc Nation, positioning him among a wave of UK rappers gaining major-label attention in the early 2010s. His career was significantly disrupted when he was arrested and charged with attempted murder in 2011; he spent months on remand before being acquitted of all charges, though he was dropped by Roc Nation during this period.

Koke later rebuilt his career, signing with Universal Music and releasing further volumes in his «Pure Koke» mixtape series. His sound blends gritty, street-focused storytelling with a distinctly London delivery, drawing on grime and UK rap traditions while incorporating more melodic, radio-friendly elements on later material. Tracks like «Turn Back» and «My Time» reflect his ongoing work toward a long-anticipated debut album.
