JVG

JVG, styled as Jare&VilleGalle, is a Finnish rap duo from Helsinki formed by Jare Brand and Ville Galle. Known for upbeat, party- and sports-themed songs, the duo built a career blending rap roots with an increasingly pop-oriented sound over the years.

Their 2011 single «Häissä» was named the official summer hit of Finland, marking their commercial breakthrough. They followed with a string of successful singles and albums, including «Tarkenee» and «Hehkuu», both recognized as some of the most-streamed Finnish songs of their release years. The duo also released «Mist sä tuut EP», a dedicated rap-focused project whose sequel track «Mist sä tuut Part 2» became one of its most popular songs, showing their continued connection to hip-hop even as their broader catalog leaned toward pop.

JVG has received multiple Emma Awards, Finland's leading music industry honor, including recognitions for Streamed Song of the Year, Hip-Hop Album of the Year, and Group of the Year across the mid-2010s. Their popular, high-energy style has made them one of the most commercially successful acts in Finnish rap and pop over the past decade.
