Joyner Lucas

Joyner Lucas, born Gary Maurice Lucas Jr. on August 17, 1988, in Worcester, Massachusetts, is an American rapper and songwriter known for dense, rapid-fire wordplay and emotionally charged storytelling. He began recording under names like G-Storm and Future Joyner before settling on Joyner Lucas, releasing early mixtapes including «Listen To Me» in 2011 and «LFO's» in 2013, working closely with his uncle and producer Cyrus Tha Great.

He gained wider recognition through freestyles and remixes, notably his take on «Panda» in 2016, before signing to Atlantic Records and releasing the mixtape «508-507-2209» in 2017. His breakthrough single «I'm Not Racist», released in 2017, became a viral, controversial dialogue on race in America and went on to earn RIAA gold certification, establishing him as an artist unafraid to tackle difficult social themes through narrative-driven rap.

His long-teased debut album «ADHD» arrived after a string of singles including «Isis» and «10 Bands», further cementing his reputation for cinematic, confrontational songwriting.
