Jon Lajoie

Jon Lajoie is a Canadian comedian, musician and actor who became an internet sensation in the mid-2000s through absurdist, foul-mouthed comedy songs posted on YouTube. Tracks like «Everyday Normal Guy» and «Show Me Your Genitals» built a cult following for their mix of deadpan rap-pop delivery, lo-fi beats and satirical lyrics that poked fun at masculinity, fame and internet culture itself.

Musically he moves freely between rap, pop, rock and electronic production, often performing every instrument and vocal layer himself, which gives his songs a distinctive one-man-band, mock-serious sound. Beyond music he is widely known for playing stoner musician Taco MacArthur on the FX series The League from 2009 to 2015, a role that grew out of his musical-comedy persona.

He later stepped away from his purely comedic music identity to release more sincere work under the name Wolfie's Just Fine, including the album I Remembered But Then I Forgot in 2016 and the EP Perfection, Nevada in 2018, showing a shift toward earnest songwriting alongside his comedy roots.
