Jme, born Jamie Adenuga in Hackney and raised in Tottenham, north London, is one of grime music's most respected MCs, producers, and DJs. Alongside his brother Skepta, he co-founded the influential crew and label Boy Better Know, which became a central pillar of the UK grime scene from the mid-2000s onward. His sharp, witty lyricism and distinctly independent, unapologetically British delivery set him apart from peers chasing mainstream crossover sounds.

Jme first drew wider attention through his work with Skepta, including the collaboration «That's Not Me», before cementing his own reputation with the acclaimed album Integrity>, home to fan favourites like «Man Don't Care» and «96 Bars Of Revenge». His style blends aggressive grime production with playful, socially aware wordplay, often touching on politics, veganism, and everyday British life with equal ease.

Beyond music, Jme has remained a vocal advocate for grassroots grime culture and DIY artist independence, releasing music on his own terms rather than through major-label deals. He is also known for his connection to the YouTube collective Sidemen and his continued presence within Boy Better Know's roster.
