Jackboy

Jackboy, born Pierre Delince on August 27, 1997, in Haiti, is a Haitian-American rapper from Pompano Beach, Florida, whose family relocated to the United States when he was a child. He entered the rap scene in earnest with his 2016 debut mixtape «Stick Up Kid», which brought him into the orbit of childhood friend Kodak Black, and gained further traction through an early co-sign from PnB Rock.

Jackboy's sound is rooted in South Florida street rap, marked by aggressive, gritty delivery and melodic hooks that reflect the gang-affiliated life he raps about. His profile rose significantly after collaborating with Kodak Black on a 2017 remix of Tee Grizzley's «From The D to the A», but his true breakthrough came with the 2020 single «Pressure», which went viral and earned him his first RIAA Gold certification.

His career has also been shaped by a highly publicized falling-out with Kodak Black, a lifelong friend turned rival, with the two trading diss tracks starting in 2021 — including Kodak's «Super Gremlin» and Jackboy's response, «Don't Force My Hand». Beyond the feud, Jackboy has built a catalog of hard-edged, emotionally raw records like «Live and Learn», «Bipolar», and «Won't Understand», establishing himself as a distinctive voice in Florida's contemporary street rap scene.
