Ikka

IKKA, born Ankit Singh Patyal, is an Indian rapper, songwriter and music producer from New Delhi who emerged from the country's early hip-hop scene as part of the collective Mafia Mundeer alongside artists like Yo Yo Honey Singh, Raftaar and Badshah. After the group's split, he built a solo career that helped push Hindi and Punjabi-language rap into the Indian mainstream.

His sound blends hard-hitting trap and hip-hop production with Hindi and Punjabi lyricism, often mixing braggadocio and street-style bars with catchy, radio-friendly hooks. He entered Bollywood with the track «In Da Club» for the 2014 film Tamanchey, and has since built a catalog of independent singles that circulate widely on Indian streaming platforms and YouTube, including tracks like «Gojira», «Angaar» and «Sab Jaanta Hai».

IKKA is regarded as one of the important figures in the growth of Desi hip-hop, both through his own discography and his early role in shaping the Mafia Mundeer generation of rappers who later became some of the biggest names in Indian rap.
