iann dior, born Michael Ian Olmo on March 25, 1999, in Arecibo, Puerto Rico, and raised largely in Corpus Christi, Texas, is a rapper and singer known for blending melodic rap with pop-punk and emo-influenced textures. He began releasing music in 2017 under the name Olmo before adopting his current stage name, gaining traction through Internet Money productions such as «cutthroat», produced by Nick Mira.

He signed with TenThousand Projects in 2019 and released his debut album, Industry Plant, that November, featuring guests like Trippie Redd, Gunna and Travis Barker. His sound became widely recognized through genre-blending collaborations, most notably with 24kGoldn on «Mood», which became a global hit, and later work alongside artists such as Machine Gun Kelly and Trippie Redd that leaned further into rock-rap crossover territory.
