Ian (ROU)

Ian, born Bogdan Georgian Anghel on May 20, 1996, is a Romanian rapper, singer and songwriter from Bucharest, active within the New World Order collective and distributed through Global Records. He first gained attention as part of a duo with Azteca on the track «Mafiot», but it was the late-2018 single «Bag un blunt» that became a breakout hit, racking up millions of views and establishing him as a rising name in Romanian urban music.

His debut album, Slayer, released on June 21, 2019, topped the Apple Music albums chart in Romania within hours and featured collaborations with artists including Super ED, Jianu, Keed, Șapte and Simiz. Two years after its release, every track on Slayer had surpassed a million Spotify streams each, a milestone credited as a first for the Romanian urban scene. He followed with the two-track EP Wonda Bag in November 2019, before beginning work on a planned second album, Voodoo.

Ian's music sits at the intersection of trap and melodic rap, marked by hooky, party-ready energy alongside songs like «60 de zile», «Evantai», «ADN» and «Flexez» that showcase his range between club anthems and more introspective material, cementing his place among the key figures of contemporary Romanian rap.
