Hulvey

Hulvey, born Christopher Michael Hulvey, is a Christian hip-hop artist who grew up in Brunswick, Georgia, before moving to Atlanta to pursue music full-time. He rose within the Reach Records orbit, interning at the label before gaining attention through his song «Motions» and features with the 116 clique, which led to his official signing to Reach Records in January 2020.

His catalogue blends rap with R&B and rock textures, reflecting a range that runs from introspective, faith-centered tracks to more melodic, hook-driven songs. He released the EPs Prelude and BRKNHRT shortly after signing, followed by his debut full-length album Christopher in 2021, and later the more expansive project CRY in 2024, structured across three parts and containing 17 tracks.

As part of the broader Reach Records and 116 community, Hulvey occupies a distinct space in Christian hip-hop, known for pairing personal, vulnerable songwriting with a sonic palette that pulls from mainstream rap and R&B rather than staying confined to traditional gospel-rap conventions.
