Hugo Loud

Hugo Loud, the stage name of Kirill Zenger, is a Russian rapper from Norilsk, a city in the far north of Siberia. He began making music in 2018 but only broke through in 2020 with the release of his debut album Sailormoon, which established him as one of the more distinctive new voices in the Russian rap and pop-rap scene. His geographic origin is often cited as part of his identity, giving his image an outsider edge compared to the Moscow-centric rap establishment.

His sound blends melodic, hook-driven rap with pop sensibilities, favoring atmospheric production and emotionally charged delivery over dense lyricism. Tracks like «GTA», «Local» and «God save Earth» showcase this mix of moody beats and catchy vocal lines, while songs such as «F*CK SHLEEP» reflect a more restless, youth-oriented energy typical of his generation of Russian-language rap artists.
