Horrorshow

Horrorshow is a hip-hop duo from the Inner West of Sydney, Australia, consisting of rapper Solo (Nick Bryant-Smith) and producer Adit (Adit Gauchan). The pair began working together while still in high school and released their debut album, The Grey Space, in 2008, quickly establishing a reputation for thoughtful, introspective songwriting paired with soulful, melodic production.

Their follow-up, Inside Story, and third album, King Amongst Many, deepened this style, drawing praise for combining eloquent lyricism with warm, musical beats rather than the more aggressive strains common in Australian hip-hop at the time. Tracks such as «Dead Star Shine», «Push» and «Cherry Blossom» showcase the duo's blend of personal storytelling and social observation over Adit's live-instrument-inflected production.

Horrorshow are also part of the Sydney hip-hop collective One Day, alongside artists such as Jimblah, Sietta and others, and contributed to the crew's 2014 compilation album Mainline. Across their catalog the duo have remained a steady presence in the Australian independent hip-hop scene, known for extensive touring and a consistent, collaborative approach to their craft.
