Hitmaka

Hitmaka, born Christian Ward and formerly known under the stage name Yung Berg, is an American rapper and record producer from Chicago. He first rose to fame in the late 2000s as a solo rapper with singles like «Sexy Lady» and «The Business», both included on his debut album Look What You Made Me, establishing himself as a personality on the mainstream rap and R&B scene of that period.

After stepping back from performing under the Yung Berg name, he rebranded as Hitmaka and shifted focus to production, becoming one of the industry's reliable behind-the-scenes hitmakers for R&B and rap. He built a catalog of work with artists such as Jeremih, Chris Brown, Kid Ink, Nicki Minaj, Yo Gotti and Big Sean, contributing to major album projects along the way.

Hitmaka's production style leans into polished, radio-friendly R&B and rap, and he has remained a consistent presence on the credits of mainstream hits for well over a decade, alongside occasional appearances on reality television.
