Hard GZ

Hard GZ, born Pedro Ruibal in Vigo, Galicia, in 1995 and based in A Coruña, is a Spanish rapper regarded as one of the leading voices of Galician and Spanish underground rap. He began releasing mixtapes as a teenager, building a reputation for dense, lyrical, socially and politically charged writing that set him apart within the Spanish rap scene.

His early catalogue — including projects like Infantería, Invierno, Virus and Nictofilia — established him through independent, DIY releases before he expanded his sound with Kaos Nómada, Vol. 1. His music draws on boom-bap and more contemporary rap and electronic production, often incorporating themes tied to his Galician identity, working-class roots, and revolutionary politics, sometimes rapping partly in Galician.

Hard GZ has built a strong live reputation, performing at major Spanish festivals such as Viña Rock and filling venues around the country, becoming a reference point for socially conscious rap coming out of Galicia and the broader Spanish underground scene.
