Gzuz

Gzuz, born Kristoffer Jonas Klauß on June 29, 1988 in Hamburg, is a German rapper and a founding-era member of the 187 Strassenbande collective, formed in Hamburg in 2006 by Bonez MC and graffiti writer Frost. He became one of the group's central figures, contributing to its street-rooted sound built around gritty, autobiographical storytelling and a hard-edged, minimalist trap and hip-hop production style.

Gzuz released his first tracks in the late 2000s and appeared on the collective's early sampler releases before his career was interrupted by a prison sentence. Following his release, he teamed up with Bonez MC for the collaborative album High & Hungrig (2013), which charted in Germany and became a breakthrough moment for 187 Strassenbande, helping establish the crew as a major force in German street rap.

His solo debut, Ebbe & Flut (2014), reached the upper tiers of the German album charts and cemented his reputation as one of the label's key voices. He has continued to release solo and collaborative material and appears throughout the broader 187 Strassenbande catalogue, contributing to the collective's rise as one of the most commercially successful and influential forces in contemporary German-language rap.
