Guf, born Alexei Dolmatov on September 23, 1979, is one of the foundational figures of Russian-language hip-hop, having emerged in the early 2000s as part of the Moscow rap scene. He rose to prominence performing under the name Rolexx before settling on the Guf moniker, and he was a member of the group Tsentr (CENTR) alongside other prominent Russian rappers before pursuing a long-running solo career. His delivery is known for its heavy, gruff cadence and lyrics that move between street realism, introspection, and dark humor.

Guf co-founded the labels ZM Nation and TsAO Records, positioning himself not just as a performer but as an organizer within the Russian rap industry, helping cultivate other artists around him. Tracks such as «Спонсор твоих проблем» and «Ураган» reflect the aggressive, bass-heavy production style long associated with his catalog, while songs like «Пусто» lean into more melancholic, confessional territory.
