Grupo Firme

Grupo Firme is a Regional Mexican band formed in Tijuana in 2013, initially under the name Grupo Fuerza before adopting its current name in 2014. Fronted by Eduin Caz, the group built its early following in an unconventional way, filming friends performing at informal gatherings — pisteadas and carne asadas — and sharing the videos on social media rather than following a traditional label-driven path into the industry.

The band blends banda instrumentation with heartfelt, often romantic lyrics, and its lineup has included Eduin Caz, Johnny Caz, Joaquin Ruiz, Christian Gutierrez, Jose Rubio and Dylan Camacho, among others. This mix of accessible songwriting and energetic banda sound helped the group cross over from a grassroots online phenomenon into mainstream Regional Mexican radio and the Billboard charts.

Songs such as «El Beneficio De La Duda», «Ya Supérame» and «El Amor No Fue Pa' Mí» reflect the group's signature style: emotionally direct storytelling delivered over lively brass-driven arrangements, frequently captured in energetic live recordings that showcase their performance-first identity.
