Gringe is a French rapper from Caen, Normandy, best known for co-founding the duo Casseurs Flowters with Orelsan, one of the most acclaimed acts in French hip-hop. Before going solo, he built his reputation through witty, self-deprecating verses and a distinctive laid-back flow that contrasted with more aggressive rap trends of the 2000s and 2010s. His work often blends humor with vulnerability, touching on everyday struggles, friendship, and self-doubt.

His debut solo album, «Enfant lune», released in 2018, confirmed his ability to stand on his own outside the duo, exploring introspective themes with the same conversational, ironic tone fans knew from Casseurs Flowters. Songs like «Qui dit mieux», «Le mal est fait» and «Déchiré» showcase his talent for storytelling wrapped in catchy, accessible production.

Beyond music, Gringe has built a parallel career as an actor, appearing in films such as «Carbone», «Les Chatouilles» and «Damien veut changer le monde», and as an author with the book «Ensemble, on aboie en silence».
