Грибы (Griby)

Грибы (Griby, meaning «Mushrooms») were a Ukrainian music group from Kyiv active between 2016 and 2017, made up of rappers Чатти and Симптом alongside producer Юрий Бардаш. Emerging with the viral track «Интро» in April 2016, they quickly became one of the most talked-about acts in Russian-language internet rap, blending trap and electronic beats with deliberately absurd, meme-driven lyrics and imagery.

Their biggest hit, «Тает лёд», released in March 2017, became a massive viral phenomenon, amassing hundreds of millions of views and turning into one of the defining internet-rap anthems of its era across the Russian-speaking world. Tracks like «Копы» and «Велик» further cemented their reputation for catchy, ironic songwriting paired with a distinctive lo-fi, DIY visual aesthetic.

Despite their explosive rise, Грибы disbanded in August 2017 following internal conflict during a tour, leaving a second planned album unreleased. Юрий Бардаш went on to pursue solo projects, while Чатти and Симптом continued making music together under the name Grebz, carrying forward the group's irreverent style.
