GothBoiClique

GothBoiClique, commonly abbreviated GBC, is an American emo rap collective formed in Los Angeles around 2013 by Wicca Phase Springs Eternal, Cold Hart and Horse Head. The group grew out of the earlier Seattle-and-LA-based collective THRAXXHOUSE, and its members helped pioneer a sound that fused emo and pop-punk sensibilities with hip-hop production and delivery, becoming one of the defining forces of the SoundCloud-era emo rap movement.

Over the years the lineup has included Mackned, Fish Narc, Døves, JPDREAMTHUG, YAWNS and Lil Tracy, among others. The collective gained wider mainstream attention after Lil Peep, introduced to the group through producer NEDARB, joined in 2016, bringing GothBoiClique into broader public consciousness before his death in 2017. Songs like «Desire», «Kill Me» and «Why Did We Ever Meet» reflect the group's melancholic, confessional lyricism paired with lo-fi, guitar-tinged beats.

GothBoiClique's influence extended well beyond its own catalog, shaping a generation of artists who blended rap with emo and alternative rock aesthetics. Tracks such as «Tiramisu», «She Fell Asleep» and «Boyle Heights» showcase the group's range, from moody introspection to more energetic, hook-driven material, cementing its legacy as a pivotal underground collective of the 2010s.
