GloRilla

GloRilla, born Gloria Hallelujah Woods, is a rapper and songwriter from Memphis, Tennessee, part of a wave of artists who brought the city's raw, energetic rap style back into the national spotlight. She began releasing music in the late 2010s, putting out her first mixtape, Most Likely Up Next, in 2019, which included early tracks like «Steph Curry» and a remix of «Crazy Story» with Kay Dinero. Her breakthrough came with «FNF (Let's Go)», a collaboration with producer and rapper Hitkidd that turned into a viral phenomenon on TikTok and Instagram in 2022, catching the attention of Memphis rap veteran Yo Gotti, who signed her to his label, CMG The Label.

GloRilla's sound is defined by blunt, confident delivery, hard-hitting production rooted in Memphis's rap tradition, and lyrics centered on independence and self-assurance, themes that resonated strongly with «FNF» becoming an anthem of female empowerment. She followed that breakout with further hits such as «Tomorrow» and its sequel «Tomorrow 2», as well as «Yeah Glo!» and «Wanna Be», the latter receiving a high-profile remix.

Since her rapid ascent in 2022, GloRilla has established herself as one of the most prominent voices in contemporary Southern hip-hop, known for collaborations across the genre and for helping sustain Memphis's influence on mainstream rap.
