Ghost Mountain

Ghost Mountain is an American rapper, born Wren Kosinski in Sacramento, California. He first surfaced online making lo-fi trap mixes with a friend under the name Wrendered around 2016–2017, drawing on early influences like RL Grime. In 2019 that partnership evolved into Haunted Mound, the rap collective he co-founded with Sematary, blending the raw menace of Chief Keef-style trap with the icy atmosphere of Swedish black metal acts like Lifelover and the ghostly murk of witch house groups such as SALEM.

Within Haunted Mound, Ghost Mountain built a catalog of murky, horror-tinged rap tracks including «Apollon», «COIL», «DAMIEN» and «HIGHWAY HEX», helping define the collective's signature mix of trap drums, distorted low end and occult imagery. His delivery tends toward a more restrained, melodic counterpoint to Sematary's harsher persona, giving the group's music emotional range beyond pure aggression.

In April 2021 he stepped away from music entirely, deactivating his social accounts to focus on college; his departure was widely read as a response to tensions within the group. He returned publicly in September 2024, reactivating Instagram and reconnecting with his former collaborators, signaling a comeback after several years away from the scene he helped build.
