Джиган (Geegun)

Джиган, born Denis Ustimenko-Vainshtein in Odesa in 1985, is a Ukrainian-Russian rap artist who built his career primarily in the Russian-language hip-hop and pop-rap scene. He was formerly associated with the Black Star label, one of Russia's most prominent hip-hop and urban pop imprints, before becoming an independent artist.

His music blends rap with radio-friendly pop and R&B elements, often built around catchy hooks and dance-oriented production, which brought him mainstream commercial success and numerous collaborations with well-known Russian-language pop and rap artists over the years. Tracks such as «На чиле», «Худи» and «Rolls Royce» reflect this accessible, hook-driven style that helped him reach broad audiences beyond the core hip-hop scene.

His contributions to Russian-language popular music have been recognized with major national awards, including the Golden Gramophone and Song of the Year, cementing his status as one of the more commercially visible rap-pop crossover artists of his generation in the post-Soviet music space.
