Gazo

Gazo, born Ibrahima Diakité, is a French rapper of Guinean descent who rose to prominence as one of the leading figures of the French drill scene. Raised partly in Châteauroux and associated with Saint-Denis in the Paris suburbs, he initially performed as Bramsou before rebranding as Gazo once he shifted from trap-leaning production toward drill.

Starting around October 2019, Gazo built momentum with a string of «Drill FR» freestyles that helped popularize the UK-drill-influenced sound within French rap, drawing clear inspiration from American drill pioneers like Pop Smoke. His deep, menacing voice and dark, minimal flow became a signature, distinguishing him within a rapidly growing wave of French drill artists.

Gazo runs his own label, BSB, and has become one of the most commercially successful and influential names in contemporary French rap, credited with helping push drill from an underground movement into mainstream French hip-hop. Tracks like «RAPPEL», «KASSAV» and «CELINE 3X» showcase his continued evolution while staying rooted in the hard-edged, atmospheric drill sound that built his reputation.
