Gabby Barrett

Gabby Barrett is an American country singer-songwriter born on March 5, 2000. She first gained national attention as a finalist on season 16 of American Idol, where she also met her future husband, singer Cade Foehner, who placed just behind her in the competition.

After the show, Barrett released her debut EP The Fireflies in 2018, followed by the breakout single «I Hope» in 2019, a crossover hit blending country grit with pop hooks that became one of the biggest debut singles by a solo woman in the genre in years. Her debut full-length album Goldmine arrived in 2020 and set streaming records for a debut country album by a woman, later expanded with a deluxe edition. Songs like «The Good Ones» and «Footprints on the Moon» further established her blend of vulnerable songwriting and powerful vocals.
