G Herbo, born Herbert Randall Wright III, is a rapper from Chicago who emerged in the early 2010s as one of the key voices of the city’s drill scene, initially performing as Lil Herb before rebranding. His music is grounded in vivid, often unflinching storytelling about street life, loss, and survival on Chicago’s South Side, delivered with a rapid, technically dense flow that set him apart from many of his drill peers.

He built early buzz through collaborative tracks and mixtapes alongside other Chicago artists, gaining wider attention with songs like «Kill Shit» and «Who Run It», before expanding his sound on full-length projects that showed more melodic and reflective sides of his songwriting.
