Fuse ODG is a British-Ghanaian musician who emerged in the early 2010s as one of the artists who brought Afrobeats to mainstream UK attention. Raised in London within a Ghanaian family, he drew on West African rhythms — particularly the Ghanaian azonto sound — fused with contemporary British pop and dance production, creating a bright, percussive style built for the dancefloor.

His breakthrough came with tracks like «Antenna» and «Azonto», which helped popularize azonto dance culture in the UK, followed by further hits including «Million Pound Girl (Badder Than Bad)» and a collaboration with Ed Sheeran on «Boa Me». These releases placed him among the first Afrobeats-associated acts to achieve significant UK chart success, opening doors for the genre's later mainstream breakthrough.
