Focalistic

Focalistic is a South African rapper and amapiano artist from Pretoria who has styled himself the "President of Amapiano," blending rap flows with the genre’s log-drum-driven grooves in a style he calls Piano Rap. He rose to national prominence in the late 2010s and broke through internationally with «Ke Star», whose remix alongside Vigro Deep and Davido helped push amapiano to global audiences.

His music mixes township slang, Tswana and Zulu phrasing, and a laid-back rap delivery over piano-house instrumentation, distinguishing him from purely vocal amapiano acts. He has released a steady stream of hit singles and collaborated widely across the South African and pan-African scene, including with Vigro Deep, Davido, and other amapiano producers, helping cement the genre's crossover appeal.
