Flyysoulja

Flyysoulja is a Florida rapper (born Alex Venegas, July 16, 2001) who rose to internet fame in late 2020 through appearances on livestreams hosted by the Instagram personality Green Hat Guy (then known as that_guydoo). In these viral broadcasts he became known for slurred, chaotic ad-libs and blunt insults, which quickly turned into meme fodder across TikTok and Twitter.

His breakout single «I’m An Island Boy» (and its «Freestyle» version) capitalized directly on that internet notoriety, riding a wave of ironic and genuine attention into a run of streaming hits. The track's blend of deadpan delivery, minimal trap production and quotable, almost accidental humor became something of a template for a wider «island boy» meme trend online, spawning remixes and a Spanish-language freestyle version that extended its reach into Latin American audiences.

Flyysoulja has continued to release music in a similar lo-fi, hook-driven rap-pop style, with songs like «Head», «Pain Song» and «They Gon Die» leaning into melodic trap. He has a twin brother, also a rapper, known as Kodiyakredd (or Franky), who appeared alongside him in the same viral livestreams and has released his own music. Flyysoulja also has a daughter named Kaliya.
