Flight, born Kimani Tariq Kamiru-White on August 7, 1995 in Washington, D.C. and raised largely in West Palm Beach, Florida, first rose to fame as a YouTube personality under the handles FlightReacts and NotYourAverageFlight, known for reaction videos and comedic sketches delivered with an energetic, outspoken personality. He later branched into music, releasing his debut single «Cold Blooded» in February 2017.

His music sits at the intersection of rap, R&B, and pop, drawing on the same brash, high-energy persona that made his YouTube content popular.
