Eve is an American rapper, singer and actress from Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, who rose to prominence in the late 1990s as the «First Lady» of the Ruff Ryders collective. Her 1999 debut album «Ruff Ryders' First Lady» topped the Billboard 200, making her one of a small handful of female rappers to reach number one on the chart, and established her sharp, confident lyrical style within the era's hip-hop landscape.

Her biggest crossover hit, «Let Me Blow Ya Mind» with Gwen Stefani, won a Grammy Award for Best Rap/Sung Collaboration and helped push her sound toward pop and R&B audiences without abandoning her rap roots.
