Eunique

Eunique is a German rapper born in Hamburg in 1995, whose birth name is Qidinah Eunique Cudjo. She is the daughter of Ian Barkley, an American rapper who performed under the names Too Poetic and Grym Reaper as part of the hip hop group Gravediggaz; he died in 2001. Eunique began her own career in October 2015 when she uploaded a freestyle video under the alias Eunique Kobra to YouTube, quickly drawing attention within the German rap scene.

Her momentum grew after she was promoted by established rapper Fler, and in early 2016 she founded her own fan community, Kobra Militär. Her style blends assertive, punchline-driven rap with catchy, pop-inflected hooks, positioning her among the wave of women who broke into Germany's male-dominated rap scene in the mid-2010s. Songs like «Genau so» and «Check» showcase her confident delivery and ear for hooks that cross over toward mainstream pop-rap.

Eunique released her debut album Gift on 20 April 2018, which entered the German charts at number seven, cementing her as one of the more commercially successful female rappers to emerge from that generation. She has continued to release music and remains active in Germany's rap and pop scenes.
