About the artist
Erik Lundin is a Swedish rapper and hip-hop artist from Stockholm, raised in the suburbs of Husby and Bromsten. He initially released music in English under the name Eboi before switching to his own name and writing exclusively in Swedish, a shift that helped establish him as a distinctive voice in Sweden's hip-hop scene.
His breakthrough came with the single «Annie Lööf» and his debut EP «Suedi», both released in 2015, which introduced his blend of laid-back, melodic flow with sharp, colloquial Swedish lyricism grounded in his own upbringing and background — his father is from Gambia and his mother from Sweden. Songs such as «Euro» and «Flodhästar i Colombia» further cemented his reputation for hooks that balance street authenticity with pop sensibility.
Lundin has collaborated with several key figures in Swedish hip-hop and pop, including Adam Tensta, Elliphant, Daniel Adams-Ray and Promoe, placing him within a network of artists who helped shape modern Swedish urban music. Unusually for the genre, he also holds a university degree in economics and business management from the United States, a background that has occasionally informed his public persona and songwriting perspective.
