Erick the Architect

Erick the Architect, born Erick Elliott, is an American rapper, producer, songwriter, and audio engineer from Brooklyn, New York, best known as a founding member of the rap trio Flatbush Zombies. Within the group he serves as the primary in-house producer and engineer alongside fellow members Meechy Darko and Zombie Juice, shaping the trio's psychedelic, dense, and often eerie sound while also contributing his own verses.

Beyond Flatbush Zombies, he began recording as a solo artist and beatmaker under the name Erick Arc Elliott before adopting the Erick the Architect moniker, releasing solo rap projects and instrumental work that showcase his range as a producer beyond group material. His production style blends boom-bap foundations with jazz-inflected samples, atmospheric textures, and psychedelic flourishes, giving his beats a distinct, moody identity within New York hip-hop.

He is also part of the Beast Coast collective alongside groups like Pro Era and The Underachievers, and co-executive produced the collective's debut album, reflecting his role as a connective figure across New York's underground rap scene. In addition to his rap and production work, Erick has ventured into film scoring, composing music for the 2023 film The Choice Is Yours, further extending his identity as a multidisciplinary artist rooted in hip-hop but reaching beyond it.
