Enzo Dong

Enzo Dong, born Vincenzo Mazzarella in 1990, is an Italian rapper from Naples. He grew up in the city's northern periphery, moving between the Secondigliano, Piscinola and Scampia districts, an area with a strong hip-hop and street-art tradition. He got into hip-hop culture around age fifteen, joining a local crew of writers, breakdancers and MCs before starting his rap career in duos and groups, including Sulset and Roca Luce, ahead of going solo.

His stage name references the Don Guanella housing estate between Scampia and Secondigliano where he grew up, reworked into the acronym D.O.N.G. (Dove Ognuno Nasce Giudicato — Where Everyone Is Born Judged), a phrase that captures the fatalistic, street-level perspective running through his music. His sound sits within Italian trap and rap, marked by raw, dialect-inflected storytelling about life in Naples' outer neighborhoods.

He is known for tracks such as «Higuain», «Limousine», «Italia Uno», «Ciro», «Bandito», «Secondigliano Regna» and «Dio perdona io no», which have made him a recognizable name in the Neapolitan rap scene alongside other artists from the same territory.
