Elai

Elai is a Swedish producer and artist of Albanian background, raised in Mölndal near Gothenburg. While widely recognized as a producer for some of Sweden's biggest rap artists, he has maintained a parallel career as a performer, releasing music under his own name in both Swedish and Albanian, sometimes blending the two languages within a single track.

His career as an artist began with freestyles posted to YouTube, followed by his first official single in 2018. Breakthrough success came with «TATA» in 2019, followed shortly after by «Latina», tracks that showcased his ability to both rap and produce his own material, cementing his dual identity in the scene. As a producer, Elai has worked closely with major names in Swedish rap, contributing beats to artists' biggest records.

His association with Albanian rap star Noizy and membership in his collective further broadened his reach beyond Sweden, connecting the Swedish and Albanian hip-hop scenes. Songs like «Nokia», «Ghetto», and «California» reflect his knack for catchy, hook-driven rap and R&B-inflected production that moves fluidly between Nordic and Balkan hip-hop influences.
