EARTHGANG is an American hip-hop duo from Atlanta, Georgia, made up of Johnny Venus and Doctur Dot, longtime friends and members of the Spillage Village collective alongside artists like J.I.D and 6LACK. Formed in the late 2000s, the pair built a cult following through mixtapes and independent EPs before signing to J. Cole's Dreamville Records in 2017, which introduced them to a much wider audience.

Their sound blends dense, wordplay-heavy rap verses with soulful, psychedelic production and frequent forays into R&B melody, giving their records a loose, exploratory feel rather than a strictly commercial one. Songs like «UP» and «Proud of U» showcase their knack for pairing playful, sometimes absurdist imagery with genuine emotional depth, while tracks such as «Meditate» lean into more introspective, groove-driven territory.
