DTF

DTF, short for Dans Ta Face, is a French rap duo from the Cité Gagarine in Ivry-sur-Seine, made up of childhood friends RKM (Karim Azzouz) and RTI (Samy Taourirt). Both had solo beginnings before gaining wider attention in 2015 when they were featured by PNL on «Athéna» and «Rebenga», appearances that introduced their raw, melancholic style to a broader audience.

The duo released their debut mixtape Le H avant le B in 2015, followed by their first studio album Le Hass avant le Bonheur in 2016. Their second studio album, Sans rêve (2017), included the bonus track «Baddack» featuring Ademo of PNL and went on to earn platinum certification in France. They continued with the album On ira où? in 2019, preceded by singles like «Me Gusta», and the project Double star in 2021.

DTF's sound is rooted in the melancholic, cloud-rap-inflected style associated with the Ivry-sur-Seine scene, marked by introspective lyrics about hardship, loyalty, and street life set against atmospheric, moody production. Their close ties to PNL and shared regional roots have made them a notable name within that lane of contemporary French rap.
