Dreamville

Dreamville Records is an American record label founded in 2007 by rapper J. Cole and his manager Ibrahim Hamad. Operating as a subsidiary of Interscope Records under Universal Music Group, the label grew from a vehicle for Cole's own releases into a full roster of artists including Bas, J.I.D, EARTHGANG, Ari Lennox, Cozz and Lute, alongside producers like Elite and Ron Gilmore.

Dreamville is known for a communal, collaborative approach to hip-hop, most visible in its Revenge of the Dreamers compilation series, which brought the label's artists together with outside guests for large group recording sessions. The third installment, Revenge of the Dreamers III, became a critical and commercial highlight, praised for its chemistry and consistency across a large cast of contributors.

Songs like «Under the Sun», «Costa Rica» and «1993» reflect the label's blend of introspective rap, soulful R&B textures and Southern-inflected production. Beyond music, Dreamville has cultivated a strong visual and cultural identity, positioning itself as a close-knit creative family rather than a conventional label roster.
