Doums

Doums is a French rapper from Paris, born in 1992 in Bamako, Mali. He rose to visibility as a member of the collective L'Entourage, the loose crew of rappers behind the acclaimed compilation project that also launched artists like Nekfeu, for whom Doums also served as a backing performer on tour. He is one half of the duo 2Fingz alongside fellow rapper Népal, and he is the younger brother of rapper Dr Bériz, placing him within a tightly connected lineage of the modern Paris rap scene.

After years of freestyles, guest verses, and appearances in collective projects and tours, Doums released his solo debut EP, «Pilote», in November 2017, followed two years later by «Pilote & Co» in December 2019, an extended project bringing in several artists from his circle. His style favors dense wordplay and a laid-back, confident flow that fits comfortably within the French rap tradition shaped by L'Entourage's collaborative ethos.

Doums also runs his own label, Frémont & Co, through which he has produced work for rapper Slkrack, extending his influence from performer to a behind-the-scenes figure shaping younger talent in the same scene that launched him.
