donGURALesko, born Piotr Górny in 1980 in Poznań, is one of the most prominent figures in Polish hip-hop, also known simply as Gural. He built his reputation through membership in several rap collectives and through his label Szpadyzor Records, which he leads. His debut solo album, Opowieści z betonowego lasu, appeared in 2002, and several of his subsequent releases became major commercial successes in Poland.

Gural's style is defined by a raspy, forceful delivery and dense, boastful rhyme schemes that sit alongside more reflective, philosophically-minded lyrics — a contrast shaped by his interest in prehistory, anthropology and the history of religion. This combination of street-level bravado and intellectual curiosity has made him a distinctive and influential voice within Polish rap.

Beyond music, he co-owns a hip-hop-oriented clothing brand and has been an outspoken critic of the Polish music industry's award and certification systems. Songs like «O'Kruca», «Pięć» and «Maya» reflect the range of his catalog, from party-oriented tracks to more personal material, cementing his status as a defining artist of the Polish rap scene.
