About the artist

Djadja & Dinaz are a French rap duo from La Pierre-Collinet housing estate in Meaux, near Paris, formed by Djadja (of Algerian-Italian descent) and Dinaz (of Tunisian-Algerian descent). They broke through quickly in the mid-2010s, with their track «J'fais mes affaires» racking up millions of views and establishing them as one of the fastest-rising acts in French street rap.

Their 2016 debut album On s'promet was a major commercial success, going platinum and spinning off several gold and diamond-certified singles. They followed it with Dans l'arène in 2017 and Le revers de la médaille in 2018, both further hits that solidified their reputation for hooky, melodic street rap built around themes of loyalty, hustle and neighborhood life.

After a brief split announced in late 2018, the duo reunited and returned with the album Drôle de mentalité in 2019. Known for tracks like «Maman ne dort pas», «Souviens-toi» and «C'est la même», Djadja & Dinaz remain one of the defining duos of the modern French rap scene, blending catchy hooks with grounded storytelling from the banlieue.
