DJ Mister Cee

DJ Mister Cee, born Calvin LeBrun, is an American hip hop DJ and radio personality from Brooklyn, New York, best known for his long-running work on New York's Hot 97 and later WBLS radio stations. He came up in the golden era of New York hip hop as the tour and studio DJ for Big Daddy Kane in the late 1980s and early 1990s, helping shape the turntablist scunt-and-scratch aesthetic associated with that era.

Beyond his work with Kane, Mister Cee played a notable behind-the-scenes role in hip hop history, serving as an associate executive producer on The Notorious B.I.G.'s landmark debut album «Ready to Die» in 1994, connecting him to one of the genre's most celebrated records.
