DeStorm Power is an American singer, rapper and content creator from Maryland who built one of the earliest large followings on YouTube in the early 2010s, largely through a series of songs written around ideas submitted by fans and viewers — his so-called challenge series. The format let him showcase quick, witty songwriting and rapid turnaround, and it became a defining part of his early career before he moved away from it in 2012, saying it had become too comfortable a routine.

His music mixes rap and R&B with pop hooks and comedic or narrative elements, often tied to internet culture and viral trends of the era. He released his debut mixtape, Be Careful, followed soon after by a second, King Kong, cementing a prolific, internet-native approach to putting out music outside the traditional label system.

Beyond music, Power became known as a multi-hyphenate digital creator — actor, stunt performer and vlogger — with tracks like «Tsunami», «Invincible» and «Louis Vuitton» reflecting his crossover appeal between the YouTube and hip-hop worlds.
