About the artist
Delaossa is the stage name of Daniel Martínez de la Ossa Romero, a Spanish rapper born in 1993 in Málaga. He comes from the El Palo neighborhood, a working-class coastal district of the city, and his music is deeply rooted in that local identity, contrasting the everyday reality of the barrio with the touristic image of Málaga. He is a co-founder of the collective Space Hammu, a group of rappers and producers who built a strong reputation in the Spanish underground scene for both their music and their visual work.
Delaossa's sound sits within Spanish trap and rap, marked by introspective, confessional lyrics dealing with anguish, addiction, loss and loneliness, but also self-improvement, humility and pride in one's roots. His delivery is often melancholic and melodic, closer to the emotional wave of Spanish urban music than to boastful trap. Songs such as «Veneno», «Rounders», «Dicen de Mi» and «Turín 97» established him as one of the most respected voices of this intimate, street-level storytelling style.
He has built a loyal following through consistent releases and a distinctive aesthetic shared across his music and collaborations with fellow Space Hammu artists. His work is often cited as an example of how Spanish rap moved toward more personal, emotionally raw songwriting in the late 2010s and early 2020s.
