DD Osama

DD Osama, born David Reyes, is a drill rapper from Harlem, New York, who emerged as part of the city's Brooklyn- and Harlem-rooted drill scene in the early 2020s. He is the younger brother of the late Notti Osama, and much of his early music and public identity are closely tied to processing that loss and honoring his brother's legacy.

He began releasing music in 2021 but broke through in October 2022 with «BACK TO BACK», a response to Kyle Richh's diss track aimed at his late brother. That same period, he signed with Alamo Records, a Sony Music-affiliated label, giving his career a major push at a young age. His sound is built on the aggressive, sample-driven drill production typical of the New York scene, paired with raw, emotionally direct lyricism.

DD Osama has collaborated with a range of artists connected to the New York drill wave, including SugarHill Keem, Edot Babyy, Roscoe G and Coi Leray. Songs such as «Dead Opps», «40s N 9s», «Notti Gang» and «Letter 2 Notti» reflect both the harder-edged drill sound and the personal, tribute-driven themes that run through his catalogue.
