D. Savage

D Savage, born Dylan McCord on July 18, 1998, is a rapper born in Queens, New York, and raised in Gardena, California, later based in Los Angeles. He emerged from the West Coast underground scene in 2016 with the track «30 Round Clip», and became a founding member of the collective Sake World Records, formed with John Ross, Yung Weej, Kevin Moon, Jayxkreased, and Lil BossTae in memory of their friend Jack Phoenix.

After a brief run with Joey Fatts's Cutthroat Records, D Savage broke through commercially with «I Know II» following his 2017 deal with Republic Records. He then moved to Victor Victor and Capitol Records, releasing his debut mixtape D Phoenix in 2018 and the follow-up Trust No One in 2019, before departing to pursue independent releases under the planned title Bulletproof Love.

His sound blends hazy, melodic West Coast rap with the raw, unpolished energy associated with the SoundCloud generation, earning him respect from figures like Tyler, The Creator, Fredo Santana, and Playboi Carti. Songs such as «Opera», «Pill», and «Tendencies» showcase his introspective yet street-rooted lyricism.
