CYGO

CYGO, born Leonid Vakalchuk in Mogilev, Belarus, in 1998, is a Belarusian rapper and lyricist known by the stage name Leo before adopting the CYGO moniker. He got his start in the trap group XFanatix before pursuing a solo career, and reached wide recognition across the Russian-speaking world in 2018 with the breakout hit «Panda E».

His music sits within Russian-language trap and melodic rap, marked by simple, catchy hooks, moody production, and lyrics centered on love, heartbreak and youthful restlessness. This accessible, hook-driven style helped «Panda E» spread rapidly on social media and streaming platforms well beyond Belarus, turning him into one of the more recognizable names to emerge from the Belarusian rap scene of the late 2010s.

Following that breakthrough, CYGO continued releasing singles that stayed close to the same melodic-trap formula, including tracks like «Черная роза» and «Моника», building a catalogue aimed at listeners who came to him through his viral hit.
